LET'S TALK PUPPY, SHALL WE?
Your puppy/dog's behavior is essentially the language that they speak, and if you don't speak that language, how on earth can you communicate effectively? Let me be the voice of your dog and help you become fluent in Puppy Talk!
Your Puppy/Dog School classes went so well, but post graduation life at home can be hectic, and trying to keep up with your puppy/dog's training can become just another thing on your “To Do” list. So you push it aside and wait for another more convenient time, which unfortunately never arrives. This is one of those things that just can't wait until tomorrow because training really needs to happen on a daily basis and corrections need to be made in those crucial teachable moments.
That is where I come in! I will visit and assess your home* and its potential pitfalls (as seen through your dog’s eyes) by teaching you how to "think more like your dog" and apply CANINE instincts rather than your human ones. I will point out where YOU are missing valuable correction and show you what your dog needs in that moment. I will also suggest products you may need and will follow-up by sending you links to them so you can easily purchase.
So whether you are just beginning the process of adding a beautiful FURBABY into your family or you are having some challenges with the one you have, I will hold your PAW as we emBARK on a journey together towards a healthier and more rewarding relationship. "Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole"
- Roger Caras
OWNER & HEAD HUMAN TRAINER
My name is Julie White and I am the Owner and Head Human Trainer of Boston, MA based Puppy Talk Consulting. I started my animal career in 1993 as a professional dog groomer, spending nearly 10 years in the pet industry as both a groomer and a manager of a high-end, holistic pet supply store. Spending most of my waking hours with dogs and deeply ensconced in the industry, I began to really understand them, from not only an educational perspective, but from both an instinctive and intuitive one. Whether it was a look on their face, a particular sound they would make or their unique and specific body language, I just knew what they needed, and conversely, what they didn't, and as a result of helping so many clients, was frequently referred to as "The Dog Whisperer™", and long before it was a brand.
